This desk with chair has been refinished in antique white, lightly distressed and coated with poly. This will look great in your little office at home, or in your daughter's bedroom, or in the little nook in your family room where you sit at your laptop, enjoying the comforts of air conditioning, while gazing out the window watching the steam rise from the super hot streets outside. I think Aileen's boys are going to cross off "fry an egg on the driveway" from their summer to do list. It's that hot. Today, we put a movie on for the kids as we were finishing up in the shop. When we were finished, we very quietly, put on our bathing suits and sat in some tubes and chilled in the pool while the kids were inside. It was delightful. Absolutely delightful. And quiet...it was quiet too. Just Aileen and I. Too bad the bar tenders were at work.
