Surprised Us Table

This table has been refinished in Paris Grey chalk paint (AS), distressed and coated with clear wax. The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. Some pieces really surprise us when we work on them. This one was a deep cherry red colour. It's top was still quite red after we sanded it down to it's natural state. We were a little worried that it wouldn't stain dark enough for our standards. But it didn't disappoint us, it stained perfectly!!! It's actually one of my top ten favourite tops. If I were you I would decorate the bottom shelf and let the top speak for itself!
